This is the design blog of Jamie Kapitain, Design Principal at KAP Design. At KAP, Jamie specializes in explaining complex information using visual content. He is skilled at filtering out the key message and creating powerful visuals, infographics and illustrations that attract attention.

After receiving his Masters in Landscape Architecture and practicing in the profession, Jamie’s design career evolved into graphic design, visual communications and product design. He has worked on a large variety of projects for clients including Intrawest, Virgin Gaming, IBM, Humber College, and Mira Books.

Jamie grew up in downtown Toronto, studied ecology and landscape architecture in university, lived in a cabin in New Hampshire’s White Mountains and now lives in Guelph, Canada with his wife and three children. He has sketches to prove all of it.
